This 6-year-old mini dachshund is brave, smart, and playful, with a funny, affectionate side that will keep you on your toes. Archie is always up for an adventure and is eager to please, knowing several commands, including 'sit', 'leave it', and 'time for bed'. He enjoys the simple pleasures in life, like playing with squeaky toys and a good game of tug-of-war, and he'll happily curl up with you for a nap afterward. Archie has already shown great potential with the help of a trainer, and he gets along with other dogs and cats, too! While Archie is looking for a patient, dachshund-savvy woman or older couple who can provide a stable, adult-only home and gentle guidance, he promises to bring joy, companionship, and a whole lot of love into your life. Duncan was labeled a biter and set to be euthanized. We stepped in and found that he was just in the wrong hands, he was a stressed and scared little boy. Duncan has shown an amazing turn around in foster care. He is going to need a ONE woman, dachshund experience only, alpha home with one other dog. Absolutely no men or children. Duncan is a tweenie size, 4 year old male dachshund, his coloring is Blue Merle. He is a great dog just needs to know who is in charge. He loves car rides, he is potty trained and leashed trained. A fenced in yard would be ideal, no apartments.
